When Arno van der Holst informed me, that the F27 would leave Sydney Monday Dec 6, 2004 in order to land at Lelystad Wednesday, Dec 15, it seemed a good idea to me to travel out and meet the Australian crew. After permission had been obtained from the Australian aviation authorities to be part of the crew it was agreed, that we would meet on the Greek island of Corfu. |

On December 15, 2004 the first F27 production plane arrived at Lelystad Airport. Since april 29, 2006, the Fokker Heritage Flight started operating, a part of the Fokker Heritage Trust, so now you have the opportunity again to be able to fly in a real Fokker F27!! |
